Gardaí in Monaghan are seeking the public's help in tracing a vehicle that is believed to have been involved in a break-in yesterday evening.

Gardaí believe that the occupants of a silver Volkswagen Golf, with a partial registration of 07 CN, were involved in a break-in at a house in the Cootehill area.

The vehicle was last seen in Monaghan Town.

Gardaí are asking the public to be vigilant and to report any sightings of the vehicle to Monaghan Garda Station.
