A new phone scam purporting to be from financial company, Revolut, has been reported to local Gardaí in recent days. An automated call to a mobile phone indicates that money has been taken from the person's account.
A request is then made to press 1 so that personal details can be provided. Monaghan Gardaí are advising the public not to "fall foul" of theses calls. They are encouraging everyone in the Northern Sound region to never divulge personal information over the phone or online.
