Motorists across Cavan and Monaghan are encouraged to take care on the roads during the current cold snap
Icy stretches are making driving conditions difficult for motorists across
the region this morning.
A status orange low temperature and ice warning came into effect at 8pm
last night and will continue until 10am this morning, with further warnings
expected later today.
Co Monaghan forecaster Gerry Murphy has reminded motorists to be extra
vigilant when driving this morning.
