Monaghan farmers are being encouraged to get involved in Social Farming.
Social Farming Ireland is an initiative based in Drumshanbo in Leitrim and offers people with intellectual and physical disabilities the chance to spend time on a family farm.
Representatives from the group are speaking to members of Monaghan IFA at their County Executive meeting this evening, in the hope of getting more local farmers involved.
Monaghan IFA Chairman Patrick McCormack says it's an idea that everyone could benefit from.
