The Monaghan Covid Vaccination Centre has closed its doors, effective from today.
Meanwhile, the Cavan Vaccination Centre will end its service on the 22nd of June.
The HSE recently confirmed the closures to Northern Sound.
Since opening in April of last year, over 144,000 vaccines have been administered across both vaccination centres, in the Glencarn Hotel and Hotel Kilmore respectively.
The HSE is moving to the next phase of its vaccination programme over the coming months, and part of that is reducing the number of permanent vaccination centres across the country.
Temporary and pop-up clinics will now provide access to Covid vaccinations, while mobile vaccination teams will also operate to support those who are housebound or in long term care.
GPs and pharmacies will also continue to participate in the second Covid booster programme over the coming weeks.
