Monaghan County Council is to write to the Transport Minister, seeking a review of the visitor experience in Dublin Airport.
Cllr Noel Keelan said he was recently in Dublin Airport and that people are still waiting hours for flights and struggling to get food in the airport.
He said it was "not good enough" that this is the first experience of Ireland that some people have.
However, Cllr David Maxwell questioned why the Local Authority was "re-hashing" an issue that has "already been dealt with".
DAA CEO Dalton Philips recently appeared before a Transport Committee in relation to issues at Dublin Airport, including missed flights and staff shortages.
But Noel Keelan claimed the issues have not been resolved and are still on-going.
