Monaghan County Council is appealing for businesses who have yet to apply for a Restart Grant, to do so.
Chief Executive Eamonn O'Sullivan said over €7.2 million has been paid out in the county so far, but that more remains unclaimed.
Speaking on Tuesday, he said 1,500 successful applications have been dealt with, with some of which being paid from both the Restart Grant and Restart Plus Grant.
The non-repayable grants are open to any rate-paying business and they can apply for supports of between €4,000 and €25,000, to be used to help adapt their operations post Covid.
