Monaghan County Council has passed a motion calling for greater supports to be made available for people with epilepsy.
At a recent meeting, Councillor Richard Truell raised the two-part motion which seeks access to free travel for those with epilepsy.
It also calls for the students with epilepsy to be afforded extra time in exams and to be provided with suitable accommodation for undertaking exams.
