A Monaghan councillor is calling on TII to urgently implement the N54 Tullybryan scheme.
Sean Conlon says it would be a major road realignment scheme and that the Road's section of Monaghan County Council has been very proactive in advancing it.
However, the scheme has been hit by a series of delays and the Sinn Féin councillor says all that is required to advance the works is "the nod from TII".
Councillor Conlon says the scheme has been on Council agendas for almost six years and it's "unacceptable" that TII has yet to give it the go-ahead:
