A Monaghan company is set to become the first Irish egg company to supply produce to South East Asia.
Bord Bia announced last week that Nest Box Egg Company in Castleblayney would make history when they start to export to Singapore.
This comes at the same time the news has emerged that the company has acquired Cavan company Clonarn Clover Limited., something sales director Brian Eivers says shows their confidence in the egg industry'.
In a statement to Northern Sound Margaret Farrelly from Clonarn Clover said they are 'delighted' with the sale and after 34 years in the egg industry are looking forward to retirement.
