A Monaghan church restored by volunteers is to be opened to the public this evening.
Built in 1857, the All Saints Church in Doohamlet had fallen into disrepair with the interior being blackened by mould.
A renovation committee was formed in 2019 and have brought it back to its former glory through donations and volunteering alone.
Among the works carried out was the complete restoration of the original terrazzo tiled floor, which were individually removed, cleaned and put back in place.
The works are being officially unveiled at 8pm tonight, and Chair of the committee Gerard Duffy says it's for everyone to enjoy.
