Speaking to Northern Sound, the local businessman says that the Government has failed to respond in any meaningful way to the commercial crisis facing hospitality food-led businesses.

As a result, Mr Redmond believes that Budget 2025 will force even more restaurants to close. He added that one of the biggest attractions to Ireland when it comes to tourism is the Irish pub, with fears that due to continued costs that too will slowly disappear:
