A Monaghan coach company is endeavouring to keep the business going despite numerous set backs since the Covid-19 pandemic began.
Matthews.ie in Inniskeen saw its customer base drop from by 3,000 or 4,000 because of lockdown restrictions during the pandemic.
Speaking to Northern Sound, the company's General Manager, Karen McDermott, said the greatest impact was felt as more and more people started working from home.
But, a new initiative in the form of flexible bus ticket has been launched by the company, and she hopes this will help to drive things forward.
Karen believes this novel move will entice their much-valued customers back.
She also highlighted how the cost of fuel is impacting the business at the moment.
