Monaghan-based Old Carrick Mill Distillery has introduced two exclusive small-batch Irish gins to Aldi's 150 nationwide stores.
According to the distillery, the gins pair with any premium tonic water or lemon juice, and can be complemented by a slice of pink grapefruit or pineapple.
Steven Murphy is the founder of the Old Carrick Mill Distillery and has worked with Aldi for several years.
He says he's impressed by their support of artisan Irish producers, and adds that he can't wait to hear what consumers have to say.
Steven says the pandemic was a difficult period for the company, but they converted its distillery capacity to produce hand sanitizer in response to covid-19.
