Monaghan IFA and Cavan IFA have extended an invitation to everyone to attend meetings tomorrow that focus on rural safety.
IFA and An Garda Siochana have joined forces with The National Rural Safety Forum for to hold a national Community Engagement Day on Wednesday the 27th of April.
Events take place at various locations across the region.
Brian Rushe is the deputy president of IFA and Co-Chair of the National Rural Safety Forum.
He said it’s crucial that everyone works together to serve the best interests of people at risk in our communities.
“Community reassurance and crime prevention initiatives are at the centre of community welfare," added Mr Rushe.
"IFA is very pleased to be working with An Garda Síochána and members of the National Rural Safety Forum on this great initiative.
"We are urging all communities to come out on Wednesday to make it a memorable day."
