A Minister says his recent trip to Cavan shows the importance of developing heritage policies.
Minister for heritage Malcolm Noonan was in Cavan on Friday to see some of the projects are work that was on-going by local groups.
The Drumlane Abbey was the final destination of the visit, which earlier this year saw a geophysical survey carried out on the monastic settlement.
