The Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys will open a series of projects in communities across Co Monaghan today. The projects have been funded under Our Rural Future, the Government's ambitious policy for rural development.
Minister Humphreys will begin with the official launch of Mullyash Broadband Connection Point (BCP) and this will be followed with the official launch of Cremartin Broadband Connection Point.
At 1pm the official opening of Drumhowan Outdoor Recreation & Sensory Garden will take place and Minister Humphreys will then launch Corvally Hall Broadband Connection Point. During late afternoon, she will officially open Clones Town FC car park.
And this evening, the Minister is set to visit Truagh Development Association and Blackwater Valley Learning Centre to mark their successful €2.6m Rural Regeneration Fund application. Minister Humphreys says her aim is to make communities across the region better places to live and work in.
