Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys this week officially opened a new multi-use games area and walking track at Sean Mc Dermott's GFC in Threemilehouse.
This was part of a range of engagements involving the local Minister who also officially opened the Bog Garden at the Ulster Canal Greenway and turned the sod on the Rossmore playpark extension.
According to committee members at Sean Mc Dermott's GFC, this week's opening was the culmination of a number of years of hard work along with the help of many government departments.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Minister Humphreys said investment is of upmost importance in making sure that Co Monaghan has the top class facilities that it deserves.
