The landmark project received funding of €3.49 million under the Rural Regeneration and Development Fund (RRDF)

The extension includes the state-of-the-art classrooms, the new practical rooms and the upgrades to some of the existing facilities.

Several new Classrooms, a replacement Sports Hall and the new Outdoor Play facilities are part of the upgraded works carried out.

The Minister thanked the staff for their dedication, saying that they play a vital role in the community and have done so over the past 50 years.

A total of nine lump sum payments will be paid from next month onwards.

The Ramor Theatre is already up and running with its autumn programme, and the new Virginia library will open to the public from 10am on Tuesday 17 October.

A number of lump sums will also be paid out in 2024.
