The Minister for Mental Health has again been called on to provide more supports in Cavan and Monaghan.
There has been sadness in the region in recent months after a number of people, particularly young people, took their own lives.
Minister Mary Butler said in October that a Suicide Crisis Assessment Nurse post could be approved for the region but as of yet that hasn't happened.
A SCAN Nurse is a rapid access mental health nurse who works alongside a GP to give an assessment of at-risk people, and assist in onward referral.
The Northern Sound region has the highest suicide rates in the country.
