Two men arrested after a burglary in Cavan yesterday are to appear in Court.
The men, both aged in their 30s, were apprehended by Gardaí after a burglary at a house in Lisgrey, Virginia.
Both are charged in connection with a number of burglaries, criminal damage, unauthorised taking and trespassing offences.
A woman in her 40s was also arrested and she has been now released without charged with a file to be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Gardaí responded to an alert from a personal pendant alarm and on arrival at the scene they observed two men fleeing the scene.
They stole a quad bike from another premises and attempted to flee on this.
Local residents assisted Gardaí and with this help Gardaí located the individuals involved and arrested two men.
The woman was arrested at the scene.
