Kieran Brennan was a dedicated community man who held the position of president of the Bad Examples MCC for many years.

Bad Examples MCC are combining their annual memorial runs in honour of Hugh Shalvey and Kieran Brennan into one big day. The 'Fallen Brothers Memorial Run' will take place this Sunday the 21st July. Bikers will meet at Sam’s Bridge first at 11am before travelling to both men's graves (in Clontibret in Monaghan and Raphoe in Donegal) to pay their respects. Speaking to Northern Sound, Andy Treanor from Bad Examples MCC says its important for the group to remember both men. This year one of the members is raffling his bike for Crocus with additional funds going towards a first responders machine at Sam's Bridge in Co Monaghan. A fundraising campaign has also been launched to erect a sculpture in county Monaghan to honour the memory of motorcyclists who have lost their lives on Irish roads.
