An upcoming meeting on how to maximise the value of windblown timber is being held in Cavan this week.
The timely meeting comes in the aftermath of storm Éowyn during which County Cavan was one of the worst affected counties for power outages and other storm damage.
The meeting being led by Euroforest Ireland, a timber licensing, harvesting and marketing specialist, will be hosted by Killeshandra Community Council tomorrow, Tuesday, February 18th at 7pm.
A similar meeting by Euroforest is planned for County Monaghan in St. Joseph's Pastoral Centre, Mullaghmonaghanon on Friday, 21st of February also at 7pm.
