A meeting is been held in the village this evening to highlight the continued opposition to plans for a mast in Glaslough.
It comes after Vodafone appealed Monaghan County Council's decision to refuse planning for a mast in the village.
The mobile operator was seeking permission to install an 18 metre high monopole mast at the Eir Exchange on Main Street.
Monaghan County Council refused permission in July, saying the visual impact would outweigh social and economic benefits.
The decision has been appealed to An Bord Pleanala, and a decision is due in December.
A public meeting on the matter is being held at the Oakland Community Centre at 7.30pm.
