McNally's Carpark in Monaghan town is to close at the end of the month.
Monaghan County Council confirmed that from September 30th, it will no longer be operating the site.
The carpark had been earmarked as the location for a new ALDI supermarket since planning permission was granted in 2019.

Aldi has said it is no longer progressing with current plans for the Monaghan town store.
