Lakeland Dairies has secured a contract to trial its range of sugar-free milk drinks in McDonald's restaurants. The world's largest restaurant chain, McDonald's, has selected the no added sugar VIVA range of 200ml chocolate, banana and strawberry milks to be a key part of their exciting new menu.
The trial will run for 14 weeks starting on Wednesday 29th May across 180 restaurants in the UK as well as seven restaurants in Ireland. Cavan based co-operative, Lakeland Dairies, works with 3,200 farm families and has a portfolio of 240 products sold into 100 global markets.
VIVA milk comes in 200ml cartons that are fully recyclable including a paper straw. With added Vitamin D, the low-fat milk is naturally high in protein and calcium, suitable for vegetarians and has no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives.
