The Marie Keating Foundation Mobile Information Unit will be visiting Monaghan Town today from 11am to 3pm.
The mobile unit will be located at Crocus in the town and is staffed by a specialist Marie Keating Foundation nurse. You will be able to talk to them in a private area on board the unit about cancer prevention or specific cancer related questions you may have about yourself or your loved ones. The mobile unit is stocked with take-home information leaflets and packs on the various cancers. You are being encouraged to let others know about this important informative service coming to Crocus in Monaghan. There will be also an opportunity to visit the Crocus Centre and hear about the support services they offer to anyone with a cancer diagnosis.
Director of Nursing at the Marie Keating Foundation, Helen Forristal says the mobile unit has saved lives across the country.
