Mannok take SEAI Energy Award back to Cavan

The SEAI annual awards recognise individuals and organisations demonstrating what is possible in the country's energy transition.

Cavan business, Mannok, has won an SEAI Energy Award. The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland annual awards recognise and celebrate individuals and organisations that are demonstrating what is possible in the country's energy transition.

Applicants to the 2024 SEAI Energy Awards collectively reduced energy consumption by 23 per cent and saved more than €60 million on energy spend. Mannok, the construction business from the Cavan-Fermanagh border, received the award for 'Large Business.'.

According to SEAI "Mannok has made large strides in sustainable energy practices. As part of their "Mannok 2030 Vision", they aim to reduce scope 1 and 2 emissions by 35% by 2030." Damien Owens from the company said the award was the result of a lot of work behind-the-scenes by all his team:
