The manager of Cavan Autism Education & Training Centre says today's funding will help them to develop further.
Funding of more than €641,000 has been granted to local groups to tackle educational disadvantage €with 78,000 of that going to the group to help prepare learners for independent living.
The centre was opened to offer further education and support for young adults with autism once they leave school and this allocation will see IT systems improved and more services provided.
