Detectives investigating a report of an aggravated burglary which occurred in Armagh on Wednesday, arrested a man yesterday. In a statement issues to Northern Sound. Detective Sergeant McCarragher said: "At around 8:55pm, it was reported that a man armed with a knife forced his way into a house in the Aghanore Walk area. It was reported that a 46 year old man who was inside the property received stab wounds during the incident. The man received injuries to his neck and hands.
"A man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of related offences and is currently in custody at this time. Enquiries are continuing and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference number 2096 15/02/23.
