A man is to be sentenced this morning for his role in a burglary at a phone shop in Monaghan town.
On February 8th, the Three phone shop in Church Square was broken into, with thousands of euro worth of property taken.
31 year old Ion Dulman, of no fixed abode is charged with causing €1,500 worth of damage to the doors of the shop, and to entering the property as a trespasser to take 61 phones and routers worth almost €31,000.
Appearing before Judge John Aylmer at Monaghan Circuit Court on Tuesday, Dulman confirmed he is pleading guilty to both charges.
Dulman was remanded in custody, with sentencing adjourned until today to allow a translator be in attendance.
