A man is continuing to be questioned by Gardaí after a husband and wife died following a hit and run in Blanchardstown in Dublin on St. Stephen's Day.
They were among four pedestrians who were involved in the incident.
Emergency services were called to the scene of a crash on Blanchardstown Road North, involving a car and four pedestrians, at about 5.45pm on Thursday evening.

39 year old Georgina Hogg-Moore was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her husband, 40 year old Anthony Hogg, was taken to Connolly Hospital with serious injuries but passed away later that night.
The driver of the vehicle failed to remain at the scene of the collision.
Gardaí are continuing to investigate the incident and are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have camera footage to come forward.
