Man killed in Cavan collision on Christmas Day named locally

A man who died following a collision in Co. Cavan has been named locally.
Sean Brady was aged in his late 80s when he was killed in a two-vehicle collision on the N55 at Clarebane, Co. Cavan on Christmas Day.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The accident occurred at approximately 12:40am on the Ballinagh Road close to the Corlurgan Business Park in Cavan Town.
The four occupants of the second car were taken to Cavan General Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Sean will be reposing at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan, on Tuesday evening from 6pm until 7:30pm.
Removal from the Funeral Home on Wednesday morning to the Cathedral of Saints Patrick and Felim, Cavan, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am.
Following Mass, the cortege will travel to St. Brigid's Cemetery, Killygarry, for committal prayers and burial in the family plot.
