A man has been seriously injured following a single vehicle road traffic collision at Piper’s Bridge Road close to Glaslough yesterday evening.
The motorcyclist in his 40s sustained serious injuries and was was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda for treatment.
He has since been transferred to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin where his condition is being described as serious, but stable.

The road is currently closed and the scene is being preserved pending a forensic collision investigation examination.
Meanwhile, Gardai say their investigations into the incident are ongoing.
