Two men in their twenties and a teenager are being questioned this morning in relation to a gangland shooting in Dublin on Monday morning. A man in his early 20s died in the incident on the Knocknarea Road in Drimnagh shortly after midnight.
A number of cars have been seized as part of the investigation and a possible explosive device found nearby had to be made safe by the army.
Garda Superintendent Paul Maher says armed gardaí arrested three males shortly after the incident: "Investigating gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward," the officer said, "In particular we're appealing for any person with dashcam or any other form of footage and who were in the Knocknarea Road area between 11:30pm and 12:30am to make that footage available to An Garda Síochána."
