A man has been charged in relation to a serious assault in Bailieborough.
In the early hours of yesterday morning, gardaí were called to an incident in the town where a man in his 20s was found with serious injuries.
The suspects had left the scene, but two men were arrested a short time later and brought to Bailieborough Garda Station for questioning.

One of the men has since been charged and is due before the Courts.
A file is being prepared for the DPP and investigations are ongoing.
