A large quantity of cannabis and cash has been discovered during a search of a premises in Co Cavan.
Yesterday, gardaí from the Cavan/Monaghan Divisional Drugs Unit searched a house under warrant in the Ballinagh area.
They were assisted by members of Cavan Roads Policing Unit and local uniform members.

During the course of the search, a large quantity of cannabis and cash was discovered and a man in his early 30s was arrested and interviewed at Cavan Garda Station.
The man has since been charged with offences in relation to the sale and supply of controlled drugs.
The search was part of Operation Tara, which aims to disrupt, dismantle and prosecute drug trafficking networks at all levels.
