A man who was outside the rear of his home in Armagh shortly before midnight last Thursday was attacked and robbed by two masked men. The victim, a man in his 60s was approached by the men in balaclavas and assaulted outside the back of his house on the Tullysaran Road.
He was then pushed into his property where his assailants attacked him further and ransacked one of his rooms. They then made off with a number of items and investigating police are treating the incident as an aggravated burglary.
The suspects are both described as wearing balaclavas and dressed all in black. One of them was described as being over 6' tall, while the other was approximately 5' 8". The victim was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening. The PSNI are appealing to anyone who was in the Tullysara Road area of Armagh at around 11:50pm last Thursday, April 18th and saw anything suspicious to contact them on 101 or Crimestoppers.
