A man arrested as part of the investigation into the recent security alert in Wattlebridge remains in custody.
The man, who's in his mid-40s, was arrested by Gardaí in Cavan yesterday, as part of a joint operation with the PSNI.
He's being questioned in Cavan Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
He's believed to be connected to the two-week security alert, which was later deemed to be a hoax.
The Continuity IRA had claimed a landmine had been left at a bus shelter in the area on the Cavan-Fermanagh border.
Ammunition was also found in the area.
The Continuity IRA claimed they had opened fire on a police helicopter the following evening but this was denied by Police as they say there was no police helicopter in the area.
