A man in his 30s who was arrested earlier this week in Monaghan over the theft and resale of high-end vehicles has been charged in connection with the incident. He is due to appear before a sitting of Dublin District Court today.
Meanwhile, as part of ongoing investigations targeting organised criminal groups involved in the theft and resale of the motor vehicles, an operation was conducted by SMVIU attached to the Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation on Wednesday, June the 28th last.
