A 20-year-old man has been charged after he was arrested in connection with a police vehicle which was deliberately rammed near Newry on Monday. He was charged with a number of offences, including two counts of aggravated vehicle taking causing injury and two counts of failing to stop where an accident occurred causing injury.
The man was further charged with theft, possession of a Class B controlled drug and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, in connection with a report of theft on 11th June. He appeared before Newry Magistrates Court this afternoon.
