A man arrested in connection to the capital murder of Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe has been released without charge.
The man in his 30s was detained last Monday by Gardaí investigating the murder of the Kilnaleck native outside Lordship Credit Union in January 2013.
He was questioned under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, but released from custody yesterday evening without charge.
A file will be prepared for the DPP and investigations are ongoing.
Last year, 29 year old Aaron Brady of Monog Road in Crossmaglen, Co Armagh was convicted of capital murder.
He has been sentenced to life in prison to serve no less than 40 years.
