A man in his 30s is continuing to be questioned by Gardai in relation to the investigation into the disappearance and murder of Kyran Durnin. Kyran Durnin was reported missing in August of this year but Gardai believe he was last seen alive in 2022. Yesterday, Gardai searched two properties in County Louth in relation to the investigation.
Cliona O'Dwyer Reports: "Yesterday, Gardai conducted searches on two separate houses in Drogheda County Louth in relation to the investigation into the disappearance and murder of Kyran Durnin. The search of the first property was completed by one o'clock however Gardai have not released the details of that search for operational reasons. The search of a second property continued until dark.
"Forensic units were present at the house and Gardai were seen entering the back garden on ladders from adjoining properties. A digger remained on site throughout the day. Back in October, Gardai completed a three day search of a property and land in Dundalk in relation to the investigation. The gardai say yesterday's searches mark a continued effort to establish what happened to Kyran Durnin."
