A man has been arrested following the death of another man in a road crash in Wexford.
Separately a man is due in court charged in connection with a hit-and-run in which a man was killed in Limerick city. At around 5pm yesterday evening gardai and the emergency services were called to the scene of a crash on the n11 in Wexford. The crash between a lorry and two cars happened between Kyle Cross and Oylegate. A man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene while two others received medical treatment for non life threatening injuries. A man in his 20s was arrested. Separately in Limerick a man in his 30s is due in court this morning, charged in connection with a fatal hit-and-run on the Ennis Road on Tuesday afternoon.
A pedestrian in his 50s died in the collision - the victim James Forde from Limerick City will be laid to rest on Saturday.
