The main suspect in the investigation into the discovery of Annie Heyneman's body in Ballyconnelll at the weekend has now been charged.
The man, aged in his 30s is expected to appear at Monaghan District Court this morning.
He was arrested shortly after a serious incident at the home of Mrs Heyneman on Saturday evening and detained at a Cavan garda station since.
