A man in his 20s remains in custody this morning after three people were injured in a stabbing attack in Dublin. It happened in the Stoneybatter area yesterday afternoon.
Andrew Lowth reports: "Emergency services responded to calls between half 2 and 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon. They attended the scene of an attack on Oxmantown Road, as well as Carnew Street, and a third at a house on Niall Street.
"Three men had been attacked and brought to hospital - two of the men were treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries. A man was arrested a short time later on nearby Manor Street. He is being held at a Garda station in the north of the city. Gardaí continue to appeal for information, and conducted door to door inquiries yesterday asking for any potential phone or doorbell footage."
