As part of Operation Tara, Gardaí from Ballinagh in Co Cavan recently searched a property in the town under warrant.
As a result of the authorised search, a large quantity of cannabis was discovered along with other drug paraphernalia.
A male in his 20's was arrested at the scene and detained for questioning at Cavan Garda Station.

According to local Gardaí the male was subsequently charged with drug related offences and is now before the courts.
