A Co Fermanagh man who graced TV screens during Wednesday's episode of popular show 'Tipping Point' says he would encourage "anyone" to apply following his experience. Gary Quinn, who works as a primary school teacher in Newcastle was runner-up on the show presented by Ben Shephard after applying before lockdown.
Despite a global pandemic putting a stop to all recording, the teacher was "more than delighted" to receive a call-back from producers to appear on the popular show. Speaking to Northern Sound, Gary said it was always a dream of his to take part in a game show, adding that his experience on 'Tipping Point' has encouraged him to apply to other shows in the future.
"So I went for the mystery counter on the edge of the tipping point. I managed to win a hot air balloon ride around a central city in the UK of my choice. So, I'm hopefully going to use that during the summer," he added.
