A major international furniture store has received planning permission for alterations to a unit at Monaghan Retail Park.
JYSK, which has nearly 3,000 stores across 50 countries, has been granted permission to construct a new mezzanine floor in the retail unit.
Permission has also been granted for internal alterations to provide a stock room and staff areas, as well as new external signage.
The works are subject to four conditions, including a condition that floor space shall be used only for the sale and storage of bulky goods.
Smaller ancillary items associated with the bulky goods shall not exceed 20% of the total net retail floorspace.
