A Magheracloone mining company has been removed from the EPA’s priority list.
Saint Gobain Construction, the parent company of Gyproc, had been listed as a National Priority Site since the third quarter of 2019.

The National Priority Sites list is a key enforcement tool for the environmental watchdog, and is used to target enforcement efforts at the poorest performing sites and to drive improvements in compliance.

Saint Gobain was one of three companies to come of the list since April, following improvements in compliance for reduced risk.
It had previously been mentioned on the list for emissions into water.
